A premium client needed a solid black rigid box with deep embossing. Standard automated wrapping caused the paper to crack at the edges, revealing the white paper core.
Our Engineering Solution:
- Material Switch: We utilized premium “dyed-through” black tactile paper instead of printed white paper.
- Tooling Adjustment: Adjusted the V-grooving angle to 118° to reduce surface tension.
- Process: Applied anti-scratch additives to the matte lamination.
The Outcome:
A flawless, deep-black luxury box that resists scuffs and shows zero white edges, even under retail lighting.
