From RFQ to Quote: Details We Need First

A useful packaging quote starts with clear project details. Please share the product type, product dimensions, quantity range, target price, destination country, launch timing, preferred material direction, logo or artwork status, and any document requirements.

Material and Structure Review

Projects may involve rigid boxes, paper tubes, folding cartons, inserts, fabric pouches, cosmetic bags, jewelry pouches, hangtags or accessory packaging. Material choices, structure, finish, durability and packing method should be reviewed together.

Sample Approval Before Bulk Production

For boxes, inserts, paper tubes, pouches and cosmetic bags, the sample should confirm size, color, surface finish, logo method, insert fit, opening experience, zipper or drawstring function, packing method and product protection.

Pre-Production Approval

After sample approval, the project should move into pre-production confirmation for final materials, color references, artwork files, dielines, logo placement, finish route, packing method, carton marks and production timeline.

Bulk QC and Packing Review

Bulk production is reviewed through checkpoints such as appearance, dimensions, structure, color consistency, logo position, stitching or edge finish, insert fit, quantity, packing method and shipment protection.

Document and Shipment Support

Document support depends on the selected material, supplier records, production route and order scope. Shipment details can also be reviewed by destination country, packing method and delivery handoff requirements.
