One of the biggest waste from the textile industry is scraps. However, most of these scraps can be recycled and reformed into a new piece of fabric. Here we are showing you how and what recycled materials we have.
From industry waste to new material
The raw fabric material comes as a row with a fixed width and custom length, and it needs to be cut into shapes before being sewn into a bag. Bag manufacturers will have the cutting mold designed to use every inch of the fabric as possible, but it is also required to leave space for error, so scraps is unfortunately inevitable.
Luckly the mono-material fabrics can be easily reformed into a new fabric. Textile scrap recycling is now a mature business in China.

Recycled Materials
Recycled cotton
Recycled cotton is our competitive material, their price is as good as original cotton, with much fewer carbon footprints. The recycled cotton skid the growing fertilizing watering of the original cotton.

Recycled Synthetic Materials
Recycled synthetic materials include PET(Polyethylene Terephthalate, also called polyester), and Nylon. The material source can be consumer waste(water bottles), and industry scraps. They are recycled into raw plastic and then reformed into fabrics. It may be a petroleum-based material, but it’s recycled and the bag is not a consumed product that would be easily thrown away.

Recycled Leather
Recycled Leather includes PU and PVB materials, they perform as well as genuine leather, only not that long-lasting. You may think plant-based leathers are better, but please reconsider: Plant-based leathers are made from materials that can be compounded to high-quality natural fertilizer. And they have more extra procedures which may affect the environment and consume more energy.

Summon
A recycled mono-material fabric is the ultimate choice for your new sustainable bag. if you are paranoid, go for recycled cotton or recycled polyester.
